Default Making Her Mine

Well, I've begun the process of making the new Avant my own. Some of you know me from the A4 side and remember my B5, but to the rest of you, I'm a big fan of the DIY.

I painted the calipers and center caps a couple of weekends ago. I love the red against the white of the car.

I also ordered a pair of Magnaflow mufflers yesterday. I've been debating about whether or not I should go ahead and get a nice catback system, but really, I just want the sound. And for $260 shipped, I will have this sound:

I also bought a bluetooth kit from Parrot, but I have to wait to install it because I don't have radio removal keys. There's a local Audi dealership that takes good care of me so when I go back next week to pick up a couple new coilpacks, they're going to pull it for me so that I can get at everything. Yeah, coilpacks. Cool. I had some crazy misfires the other day and still get 'em sporatically. My B5 just had simple wires ...those were the days!

Tomorrow, I'm going to do the CC and O-ring mod. And (hopefully) next week I'll be getting 20% tint all around.

And because I love it very much, some pics:

Well, I didn't have a screwdriver long enough to reach one of the screws, so clear cornering was out for today. Instead, I added a chin spoiler. I like it a lot and it was a $20/20 minute project.

Don't mind my condensation, that will be solved when I CC.

I hear you...I'm reserving final judgement until the rest of my exterior changes have been made. They may end up black.
