Default Max Boost

Got the APR chip in my 2001 S4 and I was wondering.... It says about 15 lbs of boost is expected. But when the throttle is wide open and over 3000 rpm, should I get a stedy 15 lbs or does the boost fade down to like 10 or 11. I have a boost gage and the boost is not always at 15 when I'm wide open in higher rpm's. Any input on this?

Boost will fade. Its a characteristic of turbochargers depending on the size of the charger, engine and other things.

as long as it gets to 15 lbs ur good. A lil fade is normal. they dont produce a steady amount of boost but i dont know if under full throttle thats a lil low.
