Ok, I am getting rod of my stock wheels and going with 18" wheels soon. I wanted to know if it will look ok with the stock suspension, or what will I have to purchase to make it look ok?

If i need to buy some parts, I dont really want a full suspension make-over, just enough to make it look ok if it already wont with the stock suspension. Please tell me if it will be ok with stock suspension, and If not what all I should look to purchase. Thanks.

going up to 18s from 17s isn't that much because all your doing is replacing rubber with alloy the size of the wheel and tyre will be the same so it realy depends on the alloys your getting and if it has wider tyres

your going to have to atleast drop iot some springs if your trying to save money but it is def not recomended that is what all the little hondas do i would never do it to my s4 thats for sure but hey its up to you....get somne nice coilovers if you got the pockets if not get some sprins with some struts and you will love it...

my saying is always do it right the first time so your not back in their doing it again....

Sure I will sell you my stock wheels once I get all this figured out. 1 will need refinished if you mind curb rash, but the others are in good shape. 2 of the tires are in great shape, and the other two will need replaced. I am looking to buy some 18" wheels within the next month sometime, so after that I will let them go for a good price

RE: Moving from 17" to 18" on S4, suspension question
Here's a long answer to a simple question:

Stock: 225/45-17
---------------------
Wheel diameter: 17" x 25.4mm/inch = 431.8mm
Tire sidewalls: each is 0.45% x 225mm = 101.25mm high, for a total sidewall height of 202.5mm
Overall diameter of wheel + tire combo = 431.8mm + 202.5mm = 634.3mm

"Obvious" alternative: 225/40-18
---------------------------------------
Wheel diameter: 18" x 25.4mm/inch = 457.2mm
Tire sidewalls: each is 0.40% x 225mm = 90mm high, for a total sidewall height of 180mm
Overall diameter of wheel + tire combo = 457.2mm + 180mm = 637.2mm
==> This alternative increases the overall diameter (height) of the wheel + tire combo by only 637.2mm - 634.3mm = 2.9mm
(about 1/10th of an inch).
**** Your S4 will look just as it did except about 1/2" of rubber on the top sidewall and about 1/2" of rubber on the bottom sidewall
will be replaced by wheel. The gap between the top of the tire and the fender will decrease by only about 1/10th of an inch.
The bigger wheels and reduced sidewall will look cool!

Your alternative: 235/40-18
---------------------------------
Wheel diameter: 18" x 25.4mm/inch = 457.2mm (same as in "obvious" alternative)
Tire sidewalls: each is 0.40% x 235mm = 94mm high, for a total sidewall height of 188mm
Overall diameter of wheel + tire combo = 457.2mm + 188mm = 645.2mm
==> This alternative increases the overall diameter (height) of the wheel + tire combo by 645.2mm - 634.3mm = 10.9mm (0.42").
**** This will help fill up your wheel wells (but not by much) and should look cool (though you will have a tiny bit more
sidewall than you would have by going with 225/40s).

But are 235s too wide? I suspect not, but I leave it to the experts to comment on this.

Fit might be an issue, but appearance is not. Even without doing anything to lower your car, and whether you go with 225/40s or 235/40s, the larger wheels will make it look sharper.
