So I'm looking at an S4 to hopefully get pretty soon. Everything looks really nice about it, and it was very well taken care of. It has coilovers, catback,and all the required maintanence has been taken care of when needed. It has an MTM Stage II chip in it. I only really see/hear people talk about the APR and GIAC chips. Is the MTM a good chip as well? IF i do get the car I was probably thinking of just buying a GIAC because a buddy of mine has it and says it's great. What is your guy's feedback though with the MTM chip? If it's a nice chip then I won't change it out, but I have just never heard of it, so I'd figure I'd ask you guys since I've been getting a lot of good info here. Thanks for the help

 

Nothing? I did do some searching, but I can't really come up with a consistent answer...

 

MTM = manual transmission (if im not mistaken).. its not a company lol.. ask what KIND of MTM chip the car has before you buy it

 

Its a very good chip, very smooth, not peaky and harsh like some others

 

Does it still pull you back in your seat like the GIAC does?

It's a great chip but I can't give you a comparison. Mine gets about 19psi peak and never drops below 12 or so at red line.
