My Babies..
I have had my car for a while and have been buying and installing parts.. So far I have the Strat intake, full Milltek, and 19" wheels.. I have the Brembo BBK, Tein COs, Euro grill, H sport sways, and rear stainless brake lines.. that will all be installed on 4/25/06 (only time i could get in to have it all done by my shop) The picture now is when I first got the car.. will post more pics on 4/26/06 once it is all done.. As for the bike.. I think it speaks for itself..

RE: My Babies..
i wouldnt get a busa.. almost all new 1000cc rockets will kill the busa in excelaration up to 100mph.. after that the busa will catch up and pass you.. but if you ever turn.. the busa weighs so much and is so fat that the 1000cc will just go flying by.. the new R1 LE.. is a crazy sick bike..

RE: My Babies..
to be honest with you.. when you get down to all of the 1000ccs.. no matter what you take from the ducati 999r to a honda.. any bike is about the same for as you ride on the street.. it will all come down to who has the bigger *****.. because there are bikes out there that i know would beat me in a race but didnt.. so it really just comes down to personal taste.. and untill this repsol came out.. i had been eyeing the RC51.. great bike..

RE: My Babies..
I LOVE that Repsol, it made me think long and hard about it, but I always talk myself out of it the same way, by doing a track day.
The RC is the only bike Ive kept longer than one or two years in the 20 years ive been ridding. Something about it puts a grin on me everytime I finsh a session. Its hard to swallow your pride in the long straights when the Gixxer, CBRs and R1 catch back up and pass you on the power, but I get mine back when I get them on the infield, the thing is too solid in the turns.
Like you said, it comes down to the rider and taste, all of the new lilter bikes are identically powerful for the average joes skills. Ive always said that todays 1000s are too powerful for just anyone with a liscense to buy. At the track ive been seeing an dramatic increase in highsides, all from guys on the new 1000s. They are all beasts of power and light weight. You need to know what you are doing with those bikes at the track or they will spit you out so fast. Im starting to see guys on 600s outlapping the not-so-experts on big bikes because guys are having major trouble putting the power down without bucking off.
