My broken Axle from my last track visit
Ouch! Sorry to hear that...how did it happen?
I'm still blown away by that 1/4 run of yours and have been following your progress via your posted vids for a while now - great work! I too own an old Mustang BTW - though its more of a cruiser not a hot rod. In my Audi I did once run against a 67 stang who claimed to have 500hp...was one of the loudest cars I've ever heard...I really stomped him - even from a roll he was spinning out something fierce and never caught up (after my as usual down and dirty launch). Anyway - hope you get that axel straightened out and can't wait to see what you'll manage next. Great car - good job with it!

Does any place retail stronger aftermarket axles?

I have a habit of breaking stuff, if you look at my personal site I have pics of other broken stuff on my 66 Mustang page.
I don't want to run stronger axles since you are only going to break your weakest link. I don't want an axle stronger than my transmission. I already rebuilt my tranny once it was a time intensive chore.
Broken axles are ok with me.
