Talking My new to me new S4

So this is my new S4 with 90xxx miles. I bought it a few weeks ago with a turbo that is going bad.(very loud winne) I came lowered with ST coil overs, and a GIAC chip. It is unknown to me other other mods that were done to the car. So i went ahead and bought myself a k04's. Still need them to be installed but waiting on a few other gofast goodies.

nice.. what other mods you getting as well?? do you know who is going to do your tuning?? manual or auto?? the chip will make you happy for maybe 6 months.. maybe less with you knowing you can race porsche turbos, lambos and ferarris with a small build.. expect to spend over 8 k.. but its worth it.. ..lol.. i say that STILL not running 20 psi with my RS6 build yet.. lol..

you want to replace both turbos at the same time. Do you plan on doing the work yourself?

I have a friend who jsut got out of audi school, who also just replaced his turbos is in his s4, so i think i am going to try and enlist his help. It is a manaul trans. i feel sence this is a fair stock car - the chip, that before i do the turbo install i would need to get an intake and a full exhaust. I cannot afford the fueling package yet. Will i have a problem running the gaic chip with the k04 for a while?

shouldn't have any problems, it's better to have to engine tuned for the k04's but I've known people to run them even on a stock tune and been fine.

what kind of intake are you thinking? fyi, the stock intake box is fine for a stage 3, i've seen Club Racing B5 S4's using the stock air box because it flows extremely well.

I was looking into the Vast X-1 Intake. One step at time tho. I have to sell my A4 before i can move this project ahead. Ill have about 3000 to spend then. i saw on another post about this exhaust

http://www.ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1895

it looks pretty good no numbers to go by but i think anything is better then stock

then i will get the x1 intake

i figured i give my friend 500-600 for helping me

that would leave me about 1500 left
where should i go from there?

i've heard great things about the SS exhausts considering what you pay.

if the timing belt and accessories been replaced then just do a quick check over the car. common occurrences with 90k are control arms, wheel bearings at times, O2 sensors, maybe change out the plugs if not already done, etc. don't forget your inlet pipes and gaskets for the turbos.

i would also recommend saving close to 1g just for the "common" surprises

lots of people have the full ssac exhaust and love it. it sounds good too. the only issues anyone has are poor welds or mis aligned hangers or not enough bend in the down pipes. those were when they first came out and they've improved now. most people have no issues. as for your intake i've heard people runnin full stage 3 with just a darinake and stock filter...i'd get a k&n just dont over oil it or it will ruin your maf sensor
