I am hoping this video helps start the new year off right!
Hey guys as you may know I have been trying to take the B5 platform to new levels with tuning and hardwork.
Here are the constraints I have put on myself since day one.
1. My car must have full interior with A/C and all other luxuries. (I did sway from this once on my 11.51 pass, didn't put it back in after removing my monster stereo)
2. My car must have stock plain K04s (the ones in there have 50k miles on them)
3. My car must have street tires (I currently run 225/35/R18 Kuhmos, $99 a tire) thus limiting my 60 ft time.
4. My car must use readily available parts, no built motors, no one off water to air intercooler kits, none of that.
5. NO nitrous, since that doesn't benefit the platform.
6. Do it all with tuning and boost.
Well it looks like we did it. There are several key features to this "flagship" file. like a 7350 rpm limit, opening the throttle fully at 3000rpm vs most others that use the stock 4000 rpm. Why wait to open your throttle so late when you are running triple the boost of stock and usually have at least 15 psi by 3000 rpm. We found this change allowed me to launch without revving it to the moon. We can build street files with these features as well. We just wanted to prove what can be done with a daily driven Full Interior, plain K04 S4 with no additional power adders. I think we have done so.
The next goal is 10s so I may try some drag radials since my car has the MPH and just needs to get the 60 ft in the 1.6 range.

Our stage 3 Car's complete setup
JHM/VAST Tuning - plain KO4 Turbos - JHM prototype FMIC - VAST RS4/Hitachi Hybrid MAF - VAST ported stock headers - 42lb green giant injectors - RS4 Airbox w K&N air filter - RS4 Throttle Body - Gasket matched intake ports on the heads - RS4 Cams - Baileys Diverter Valves - APR Y-pipe - JHM prototype 3" down pipes - Single 3" cat back (unhooked but in the car for these runs) - JHM "solid" Short Throw Shifter - VAST Stage 3 clutch w Ceramic Hybrid Disc - JHM trans rebuild - AWE Lighweight flywheel - AWE Drive Line Stablizer w JHM polyurethane mount mod - StopTech Big Brakes - Volks Racing LE37 18" rims w 225/40/R18 Kuhmo MX street tires - H&R springs - Bilstein shocks and struts - LLTek Rear Spoiler - RSR front bumper - Fiber Images Carbon Fiber Hood - Custom Stereo Enclosure w JL 10s and MB Quart speakers (out of the car for these runs and upper seat back was in) - Boost Guage - Aluminum Dash Trim Kit.

If I forgot anything please let me know. The only interior piece I removed was my large stereo system since it weighs about 100 lbs and makes my car squat too much on launch. I have A/C and everything else on this car. This car has 119k miles on the original engine and is daily driven.

For those who don't believe I had full interior, here is a one cut video just for you.

Best ET and Trap

Once again no one hit wonders from us. 18 - 11 second passes in one day.

11 - 128mph traps or better.

4 - 11.3 passes or better

From one enthusiast to another. I hope this encourages everyone to push the limits with the performance of their cars. Weather you road race or drag race or just street drive. You should never settle for less than 11 second capabilities. Visit us at http://www.JHMtuning.com

One last thing, I appreciate those that doubted what we were doing. You actually motivated us more. There is nothing like the competitive spirit of racing cars.

Just checked them now. It works fine. You might have an issue with your media player or internet or it was a temporary glitch.

I tried both IE and Firefox but it must have been a glitch... must faster now and it completed. Sweet video, definately makes me want to look to JH when i'm ready to go stage 3. Although i'm not sure I want a FMIC. Quite an accomplishment with full interior and street tires though.

Yeah I get a ton of traffic whenever I release a vid so my server probably wasn't happy or something. If you don't want to run a front mount I highly recommend ER sidemounts. I have some comming in soon.
