My pic is of a A6 RNS-E fitting, that was why I said it didn't fit, get it?
I was making a point! Mine is from a EURO A6. The Euro B5 one is CD based & fits PERFECTLY. Mine was trimmed on the bottom, & I put foam in the sides to seal the gaps their.
I have seen the Pioneer one in a B5, & the Alpine unit, so I know they both fit.

Well 2k..i may actually prove you wrong here (sort of..and really only on technicality) The rns-e nav that you found in the euro rs4 b5 and a6's i believe is technically what "fits" But it doesnt fit flush.. It is slightly different shaped and will be noticeable and if you want it to fit flush youd have to have a custom backing or faceplate as you call it manufactured. But look at that navplus site..they ahve all the info you could ever want.
