Default near death.

so yeaterday at about 7:00 PM i decided to go on a drive with some friends up this great road by us since i just got my chip i wanted to see what it had. I had done this drive MANY times in the past and know the road well. So were going and everything is going great

car is running fantastic and conditions were great.

there was a straight and i gunned it

105, 110, ... 130!!

then theres a turn

im thinking...ahh can take this going 100

so i do and i cut into the other lane so i could make it

and isnt there a car there(STUPID ME)

and so i turn hard to miss him and i do and then i try and corect so i dont hit the mountain
one tire off then i get completely sideways going 100 overcorect and get sideways the other way then back again

and then SAVED.

i swear to god im amazed i could do that

and so i pull over and the guy i almost hit turned around to see if i was not dead and i thought we was going to scream at me
"STUPID KID!"

but the guy was SO chill and was like "hey bro NICE SAVE!"
he couldnt belive it

he saw me in the rear view mirror and was like i didnt think it was possible he said i was completly sideways
so we got talking a little bit and his friends got an s4 as well full stage 3

great guy

but THANK GOD FOR AUDI AND QUATTRO!!!!!!!

i think im going back today to take pictures of the skids

Something similar happened to me where the rear wheels were in the dirt and the car miraculously pulled me back onto the road. Gotta love the ***-saving quattro.

Not to be all parental or anything, but think about doing crazy $hit like that when you have others in the car with you. It's one thing to risk your own life but taking out someone else ain't too cool. I used to ride my buddy around on my bike at insane speeds, back when there was no helmet law, and it makes me shudder to think how lucky we got. I'd never live it down if I hurt someone else because of my stupidity. I guess having kids gives a guy a new perspective on things...

Nice... but maybe on a open highway next time bro! Quattro is nice but it can't correct everything. You might be interested in road racing if your such a basty driver! haha be safe bro. I don't want to see another thread from you saying you trashed yr car and you're totally unstoked as u cali's boy say! haha

What track do you go to? I see you're from CA and I'd love to get my car out where there is no CHP to worry about...

good thing you wernt in a bimmer haha, my younger brother knows this dumbass at his highschool who flipped his e36 m3 going like 80 on this nice swooping exit ramp near my house. hes a dumbass whenever there is a girl in his car. goes to show that you shouldnt try to be a street racer if youve only had your license for a year.

you can give quattro credit and all, but it still takes a good driver to be able to correct under that much pressure! Good job man! Glad do hear you made it alright!
