I did some search these days, and found that the 2001.5 model car's emblem is different with 00 and early 01 and also 2001.5 has the emblem "S4"been displayed on the RPM side, only earlier model car'semblem "S4" displays on the speed side.

here is my question: I found that the car I am going to buy it is 2001 model but the weried thing is it has 2001.5 model's outside "S4" but inside it has the "//s4" sets in the speed side???

so how to define either this car is 2001.5 or 2001? it seems like combine both 2001.5 and 2001 together by the therom of identification by observing the emblem.

i think its an 01 and the guy just liked the new badge more and went and bought the newer badge

its easy to change that yet not so easy to change the dash stuff

UH OH... i just noticeda CEL from that pic. have them let u know what that's all about, codes and have them fix.

 

i am not sure about the exhaust. it's pretty much like stock , I will doulb check later.Yes I am from vancouver Canada.

you are greatly right. the CEL is currently annoying part which turns on all the times. and I found the MPG reflects scared number which may be as the result of CEL? what i can do ?

 

look on the steering wheel becuase i believe that it would have the older logo also..
