In the Torrance, CA area. I own a 2000 S4. My brake pads sensor light came on and immediately took it to Pacific Audi. They tell me I need new rotors in addition to new brake pads which I was a little suspicious. Then they say I need new camshaft tensioner seals. Would like to get a second opinion.

It's probably just your pads. You can do it yourself with the right tools and <2 hours.
