Default Need To Replace turbos....

I am a new audi owner and I am at a loss right now. One of my turbos is leaking on my 2001 s4 6speed. What is my best course of action? I dont have a lot of money but I am planning on replacing the stock turbos with upgraded ones. I know I will need some other parts like a better intercooler but I lack the mechanical knowledge to get all the right parts. if someone could email me and help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Is your turbo leaking oil? Post some more info about your scenario.

Second, there is a ton of information on this board regarding the different options for upgraded turbos. Please search and see what you come up with. A popular choice is to use the turbos from the B5 RS4. They bolt directly to the stock S4 manifolds without any special modifications. The only other thing you need is the plumbing/hardware which is usually sold with the K04 turbos or as a separate package. If you want to take advantage of the additional boost boost from the turbos, you'll also need an ECU tune as well as a fueling kit.

Inlets are needed as is gaskets for the oil, coolant, and exhaust manis. and down pipes when installing the new turbos.

I'm not sure how much DIY wrenching you've done, but keep in mind the engine has to come out in order to swap the turbos. Just an FYI.

I dont wrench at all. I just want to make sure I have all the peices and parts for when I go to someone to get it done. This is helping a lot because I had no idea about a lot of things like the better fuel system and from what I've gathered i should prob upgrade the exhaust too because the ko4s need to breathe more...?

You could just run on the k04s and a stage 3 chip till you save enough for full exhaust and fueling
