Hey all,

just picked up my 2001 s4 this past saturday. but was wondering....would i be able to install the ko4 turboes without doing anything else first? or would i have to at least upgrade the fuel components and/or chip. cuz i saw that ecs tuning has just the turboes for sale, well backordered, and was just wondering if i can install those first? thought that i could just that i wouldnt be using them to their full potential. anyone can help me out with this? thanks!

 

I've seen a lot of guys install K04's on K03 software.

Most likely not, simply because AoA looks at K04's as an "upgrade". I have had many clients do it though and never look back.

sorry for the confusion safe...i meant the stock turboes....the cpo warranty should cover, no? thanks for everyone's help.
