Default New Dp's!

wow, just got done with my new fast intentions down pipes and all i can say is: hot damn! the spool is so much quicker and that low end 45 bhp boost is prominent.

throwing out a small question, my turbos sound seemingly a good bit louder, could just be me but eh. what kind of sound difference in the turbos should i hear? i expect a bit of a difference but just to stay on the safe side. i know my turbo-timer wont make them last forever but another good year would be nice so i can save up some cash.

DPs will always make your turbos sound louder...even piggies do that significantly. dont spend the money on the turbo timer, just start a bank for turbos.

i have to buy in the next week or so. I had my heart set on ASP 3" but $1,600 is breaking my *****. 034's 3" downpipes for $750 are really tempting, saving the money would just let me get $800 further allong in my build, but they come unterminated without cats :?

Did you install the FI split pipes yourself? My turbos are very sad right now, iv beat the crap out of em all winter and their still holding on. I have a turbo timer too, but i find i dont need to leave it on all the time(wastes gas, 1 gallon every 6-10 times i shut it off), and it also dosnt stop you from boosting before everything warms up!

i had it in a shop where i "supervised" for insurance purposes. i didnt really get to do much . The FI's are going for $1100 right now. save $500 at least and still get your cats and also the most claimed hp gains that ive seen around. i usually just let it go for 10-30 seconds. and i try to make sure i dont go above 5psi before im warm.

some people swear by them. but really all they are are stock pipes with gutted cats.
