Hey everyone. I just got my 2000 B5 S4 today. Its nogaro blue with gray interior. This thing is in immaculate condition and was babied before. I traded a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 for it, and got an incredible deal I couldnt pass up. Pics will be going up tomorrow, but just a quick question first.

I did a search, found nothing, but one of the xenons is real dull. I am assuming its dying, where should i get new ones from and can i install them myself....how would i do that? Thanks!

Nice, I should be picking up a black on gray 02 S4 this week or early next week if the deal goes through.

Is your's a tiptronic or 6-speed? How many miles?

The one I'm looking at isa tip but it will suit me just fine.

Sorry, I looked at the stickys and searched, must have missed it...mine is a triptonic with 100k on it. You will love the triptronic, makes city driving real simple

Welcome, yea TIP ROCK!

Chances are the other bulb was just changed out, new ones are brighter. It's a DIY, very easy, but the headlight needs to be removed, there are 3 torx bits holding it in. Any D2S bulb will work, eBay has them all the time. Also check the classifies in Audizine, there is a guy there Ankiboy (something like that) that sell them for like $45 a pair.

Well other than not being able to launch hard and having to wait till the turbo's spool, the tip is fine. I'm going to put a chip in mine to improve the shifting as it's a little slow for my tastes. Also going to chip the computer and put a catback exhaust, apr bi-pipe, and eventually a front mount or the AWE intercoolers. I want to lower it, 19" wheels, RS4 front bumper. It's going to be tinted limo black.

My wife is all about the S4 so I won't get much hassle from her about making it look better or go faster.

I would like to drive a 6-speed though to see what I'm missing.

There should be no turbo lag. You should have torque at 1400rpm's. My car will pull hard in 4th gear up a hill @ 1500rpm's.

You can code the TIP to hold gears better with Vag-com, it's in the sticky.
