Welcome! [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Not to steal your thread...but can this happen on a FWD Audi as well and what would be the difference in the feeling from burning out to actual wheel hopping? Don't shun me for this question, but I have a feeling since it's FWD, you may have to really go at it with the monkey wrench to know.

I ask since my friend and her B6 FWD A4 has had skipped the from tires. I've been in the car with her and its jumped, but feels like a general loss of traction with some vibration, even on dry pavement, nothing too violent. First thought it was from grip of the tires due to being a little worn. It may still occur but I'll ask since she has gotten new tires since I've been in the car.

Thanks.

Ok back to your thread...

Pictures of the new ride?

hmm....im sure if i take it to a audi dealership they could tell me? what do you guys think it will cost to fix?
Any real suspension shop should be able to tell you.

The Dealer will run about $1500 to fix up the front end.

Why don't YOU call your local Dealer & see what they say, you are better off finding a good independent to take care of it.

are your tires skipping when you floor it? or is the power to the wheels kinda jumping when you push it down? my car is getting a bad clutch and it slips when i floor it at certain points a little bit
