Default New member of the S family!!

Hello all!
I just bought a 2002 S6 Avant, black on black w/ 66K miles. It's got MTM chip, MTM exhaust, Stop-Tech brakes, Bilstein PSS9's, and more. I'll be picking it up in a couple weeks, as I'm currently in Japan. Don't worry, I sent a trusted family member to test drive it for me.
I'll post pics when I pick her up.
Any comments, suggestions, words of caution???

Peace.

Mike

You think there is enough room in the S6 engine bay for a Bi-turbo set up? I know it would be an unreal amout of money but it would be sweet, and a sleeper wagon!

Good God man! Twin turbos? [sm=insomnia.gif]
I haven't even driven it yet!
Plus I'm already fearing the gas costs on this monster!
Turbo talk will have to wait.... Nice idea though...[sm=lildevil.gif]

No just wait for your engine to go or something drastically to go wrong with it and then swap in the rs6 v8 bi-turbo engine. Then your all set, that would make the most insane wagon in the world! Well now that I think about it, wasn't europes rs6 a avant?

It sounds like a great car just as it is. Suspension tweeks, breaks, chip, exhaust...I think you'll enjoy it. Curious what you'll think of the PSS9s = I considered them for my S4 Avant - but went with KWs instead (and am very happy with them). S6 makes what - 340 hp stock - what gains do you get with chip & exhaust? ..oh and welcome! Avants look particularly nice in black IMO...

The MTM site claims 360 HP with their chip. Quattros must lose some HP by the time it gets to the wheels though, no?

There should be somewhere around a 22% loss of hp as it goes through the drivetrain on a Quattro.
