Default New S4

My dad just got me a S4 im 17 and have one year of high school left. i just put a $2000 pioneer head unit in the car and i want to put some rims and a body kit on it. My main consern with the body kit is ground clearance right now i live in nj but i am looking to go somewhere north to showboard during college. is there anyone who makes airbags or hydraulics for s4's so i could raise the car in the snow because i know i will only be working with a few inches of ground clearance with a body kit.

Leave the car how it is and you'll be fine. It's an S4, not a civic.

this kind of makes me want to cry a little bit. where are you getting all this money to pay for this stuff anyways? seriously, don't put airbags on an s4...and hydraulics...wow. get an old caddie and call it a day.

No - I don't think that is what we are saying. Most (though admittedly not all) S4 owners - young or old - tend to be more minamalists when it comes to styling I think then you are. We like the somewhat stealth aspect of the car and admire its relatively clean lines. You want to pimp it with a body kit w/airbags and such - fine - its your car - and if you can do it up in a quality way I'm sure it will look nice (though not typical S4...)...but then you say you need a car for the snow - for which an S4 (not rediculously lowered) is quite capable in...seems you have 2 different cars in mind - one for the city and one for the hills. In fact the S4 - even lowered a bit as mine is - handles both quite well...think about it...

Lambo doors help the most in the snow, especially if you get a really big BOV.
