New S4 Avant
Dear everyone:
I have had a 2005 A6 3.2 for more than a year, and I never got used to it.
I keep feeling that I was driving my grandfather's car ... it was the size of
a giant Buick.
Granted, it was very nice (almost fully loaded) and was VERY comfortable, but
it was just big. I couldn't weave in and out of traffic like I could in the Saabs
that I had before it (a series of 900's then 9-3's, including a Viggen convertible).
So, with much reluctance and a slightly smaller wallet, I am now the owner of a
2006 S4 Avant --- Dolphin grey, also almost fully loaded, and a manual transmission.
It is a dream car. Best car I have ever had. As you all know, it is great fun to drive.
I've been reading this forum for awhile, and I want to thank you for all the wisdom you
all have. Many of my questions about S4s have been answered by you over the
past year.
I will keep you posted on my fun.
