A few months ago I was a freeway here in the Bay Area around midnightish with an entire car full of friends. 5 of us probably totaling an extra 800 pounds of weight in my car. When a guy from my school runs along side of us on the freeway in a 328CI BMW. He takes off from a rolling start of 75ish. And after a few seconds of looking at my passangers there was a concensus so I floored the accelerator. By this time the beamer had a few seconds on me and was probably doing close to 100. To make a long story short I passed him shortly later doing about 130 as his car started to top out and I just kept gaining speed. I got to around 140 and saw a turn coming up and my girlfriend had a morbid look on her face so I lifted my foot off and slowed down. It was such a rush but at the same time my baby and I were under total control and we both left wanting more. The next day I found out the guy I had raced thought S4's had 4cylinder engines just cuz theres a 4 in the name. I guess BMW guys just aint that smart.

 

Also the fact that most 3 series BMWs (but not mine!) have a 128 Mph top speed limiter may have helped a bit!
