hello to audiforum! been a car nut my entire 45 yrs. and now have sprint blue 06 s4 that i got for my son. we both love it (even though he is not really into cars). has paddle shift and painted calipers red. thinking about rear wing. want to post pix but need to re size them to fit. any ideas for wing. thanks

Do not put a wing on an S4. Its not a rice rocket.. its a fine german auto.
You should know this if you are a car nut.

Like a few others on here, I'm not for the wing. Non-functional wings are a little silly and will not add much to the look of your sharp new car. If you really have a need to increase the downforce in daily driving - then someone is driving too fast - and you most likely don't want the look of a functional wing anyway.

Welcome. Ditto what everyone else said about the wing. It will only make the car look worst.

 

teh only and i repeat only wing of any tyoe would be the trunk lip. Thats it anything more than that and u will be flamed non stop on here. How old is ur son that u bought this for? Is he on here to?

 

omg, you guys are harsh about mods, lol. im also a member of ferrarichat (95 spider) and they go crazy if you try to do anything to ferrari. ricer, pasta, or sauerbraten they're all only cars meant to have fun with.

im not looking for an evo type wing but i think something might make it look a little better. as for down force, i plan on being at pocono raceway with ferrari group oct 4, so might need some on the oval section!

ultimatly is ur car but i think (and im sure a ton of ppl will back me up) is that there is no need for it and they look like crap on audis. Granted there are a few exceptions to that. U dont need the downforce, I doubt that u really drive the car to speeds that high that u need the downforce for it. Plus it wont do much anyways since its AWD and not RWD. Also i believe that quattro is fwd bias.
