NO BOOST NO POWER MAJOR RICH SMOKE COMING FROM EXHAUST
Honestly instead of a rebuild i would replace, how many miles are on your car? If one is in need of attention, the other soon will be. And were talking about k03's here, the eventually will blow theres not much you can do to get around that. On a side note i believe turbos should be replaced in pairs especially since its going to be quite a bit of work to get it out, depending on how it goes and how experienced you are you could be looking at 15 hours of work (the dealer book would tell you 30 hours labor, most shops charge about 17 hours, if your know what your doing you could do it in 10). plus not being able to use your car for x days.... you dont wanna have to do that in another 6 months

sorry... i meant n75 not n75's above there....anyways. i got under the car to check the boost hose clamps and i was looking at the turbos. the passenger side turbo is covered in oil and it is leaking from the exhaust side (no oil in the intake side)... im thinking it is time to rebuild, i just dont understand how it could have happened so soon! anyways, does anyone know anywhere that is reputable and reasonable to rebuild this turbo if i take it out myself (im kinda short on cash since i just bought the thing)?

Yup, you GOT to replace the turbo's in pairs. Better just get some K04's & the GIAC STG III- setup.
THe Bentley manual will tell you how to test the N75, but you also need a Vag-Com to test the actual boost VS requested boost.
pulled the DP's off today.... passenger turbo is locked up tighter than a drum... i just spent so much money on this car and shipping it... i have none left... dont know what to do
last person on audiforums named "delaney" had the same issue, he bought a red auto S4 and blew a turbo and was out of funds because of thepurchase of the car. He offered to sell for $5000 bucks, but I wasn't willing to drive 17 hours to pick it up. If you don't have $3500 to fix it, your a bit out of luck...

You might want to contact the old seller & see if he will split the cost with out, or work something out, but don't count on it. My bet is he knew the turbo was not in good shape.
Save up, in the next couple of months there will be sales on K04's, you should be able to get the parts for under $2700. I also bet your DP's cats are toast, you might want to make them piggies, & see if there is oil after the secondary cat.
Try to get a another loan, or use a CC.
Got the car running again.... hoping to get another 30k out of the rebuilt k03's (only cost me 900) and then ill have enough $ to upgrade to the AWE Tuning K04 kit. I heat wrapped all of the oil and water lines so that should help (at least on the pass side anyways)
Bummer to have such a huge failure so early on
My 2000 just rolled passed 100,000 miles on the stock turbos. I guess it varies widely on how long the turbos last. I wouldn't give up on the car. With only 33k miles you can look forward to many many more miles together.
