Default No Longer need help, cars dead! MOD TIME!!!!

ok, so yesterday I was out in my car having some fun, and it was perfectly fine. came home and parked it for the night and all was well. I woke up this rainy morning to drive to work and my turbo's were TERRIBLY loud. I was very very scared, so I kept the car going extremely slow... like I would not let the vacume go below 10. Just to see I hit the gas real fast to see if I make any boost at all. NONE whats so ever, but the turbo's now sounded like an 03 cobra's roots blower. My first thaught was some kind of hose fell off, maybe an intercooler hose or something (I still have not checked) but my idle is fine and the motor seems to be running fine. A leak after the maf would cause the car to run like crap, so I am not sure thats what happend. Does this sound familliar to any of you at all? This really dampens my spirits since I have had the car for less than a week. Could someopne PLEASE help me and give me some places to look into?

Cracked throttle body boot? Very common but I dunno if that's the problem. If you can hear the turbo's real loud then I would think it's something bigger. Have you checked under the hood yet?

yes but you cn't really see anything. I checked the TBB and it looks to be fine. I mean I literally can't make a single pound of boost.

... damn man, I hope you didn't **** up the turbo's. Do you let your car cool down after running it hard?

I ALWAYS let the car cool after running it hard, I let it sit at idle for 5-10 minutes.

avant80, wouldn't a crack in the manifold be really obvious in the exhaust sound? The exhaust note is 100% the same. Can't hear any leaks or anything. just no boost and turbo's sounding like a roots blower.

when you said it was loud my first thought was exhaust side but it does sound like the turbo blades like one has cracked off which would make that sort of noise plus vibration, an inspection is the only way to tell

that would depend on how much damage has been done to the internals mate Ive seen some bad one but you can rebuild them if the casing is ok
