And that stuff from Stratmosphere sounds wild. I would think that you have moved out of "daily driver" territory by the time you have a stage 6 kit on your engine. But I could be wrong.

 

mine is a daily drive, no problems and I have more stuff done to it, and running more hp too.

 

That's good to know, because I'm wanting to find a solid platform to mod on. And your car sounds like a real beast. I bet it is a blast to drive.

Did you do many of these mod seperately, where you could dyno between mods and see where you were getting the most gains? I've read a lot on the forums about exhaust and chip gains - what kind of gains did you see as a result of the performance cams?

The biggest gains before doing the K04 kit come from chip and exhaust downpipes & Catback. Make sure you have nice BOV's.

 

Well, over on the fourtitude forums there is a big long thread about why not to use bov's on a b5. I believe the jist of it was that you will lose a lot of your turbo presusre with them, so you should just get nicer diverter valves. They even said that hybrids r no good for us.
