Bout to get the Milltek Dp's, i know that stainless steel is very good at keeping the heat out of egine bay, but do u guys somehow ' refit ' the OEM heatsheilds back on u Dp's?

Do aftermarket Dps from ASP, AWE, APR , Milltek etc allow u to refit the heatsheild somehow?

Or dont u need it?

Seen some posts of guys wrapping Dp's or ceramic coating - is it really nessecary?

 

I had mine ceramic coated, & left the heat shields off. On the new bigger pipes they are hard to fit, & can rattle.
