outside temp reading

outside temp reading
Well, I searched for this to see if anyone else had this problem and couldn't find any so here goes.
My outside temp sensor read -30 degrees today then slowly dropped to -14. The actual temp was close to 90. It also took a while for my a/c to start blowing cold air. Any ideas? I have a 2000 S4 with 80k miles and no mods.
