I just picked up an 04 S4, and am really enjoying this car. The previous owner purchased this car as a certified pre-owned vehicle and it developed an oil leak. The leak was diagnosed, and it turned out to be because of a defective casting. The shortblock was replaced, and the heads and accessories were all swapped over. All of the work was performed by the local dealer. They attached a 12month 12k warranty on the motor.

The car runs/drives great, but it seems the outside temperature guage is reading about 10-14 degrees above what the actual temp outside is. Anyone have any experience with this? It seems to fluctuate a couple degrees as I start to drive.
