Powder coating you need a really big oven or an oven that would fit a wheel. anyway painting I don't think comes out as well but it sure is cheaper. I think if you can afford i powder coat it. if your in so cal or central cal I can have it done for 40 bucks a wheel.

you can paint your own you just have to do it right. Get the duplicolor wheel paint (1 can for each wheel), and duplicolor sandable primer. Sand the wheels with 320 or 400 grit. Then do 3 coats of primer, and 3 coats of paint. Then you can choose to do clear coat or not. Whole ordeal cost me like ~$60 bucks.

Clear coat will add some protection andmake it a little more glossy. I opted not to do clear. Washing you don't have to worry so much, but definitely don't tap anycurbs or the paint will scrapeoff.

This might help you decide what you want;

I couldn't remember if you had a lip or not but if you go through with painting it, keep the lip chrome.

Nice pics! ^^
I dont know about the BBS's!! I wouldn't paint them! I think they look great. But if you choose to, I would have a shop do it. If you screw up that's a big $$ messup! hahaa

My suggestion:

try painting them yourself, do the flat black. If it doesnt come out well or you don't like it, take it to a shop and have them do it.

You'd only be out 50-60 bucks. Still cheaper than a new set of rims.
