i just picked up an 02 s4 with 47k and i was wondering what problems i should look for or things i should do. Its still under warranty till 50k though so gimme some thoughts.

 

STFA, you will find a million posts like this. But to help you, replace the Throttle body boot (TBB) and the diverter valves (DV's) for starters. Once you hit about 90-100k miles replace your T-belt and water pump. You cant get any of those done under warranty, since htey will be aftermarket parts, and you wont be doing the T-belt and water pump till later so...

 

Pretty much what he said... But are you sure your still under warranty?? Yaeh you have untill 50,000k miles... but are you still under the time. I believe is 4 years...and unless you a late 02 date...you would have surpassed it.

 

yeah the guy i bought it from got the warranty extended out to the end of this year or till 50k
