PIGGY PIPES
Im looking at buying some piggy pipes, I just want to know if they replace stock cats directly without the need of any extras and if they cause any engine codes to pop up? Thank You.

RE: PIGGY PIPES
piggies are kool, but if your any kind of wrencher or know a wrencher you could probably do it yourself, they dont replace the cats from what I believe and either you need to weld up one of two areas for o2 sensors or get vast cel eliminators.

yeah piggie pipes are real nice. I just ordered them from Vast. becuase I am pretty good with the wrench, but my welding skills are not good... removing the stock DPs are a pain in the *** though... the engine bay and under the car is soo tight... sometimes the o2 sensors are in bad shape to and horrible to come out...
one of the most important tools for changing downpipes is the longest extension of socket wrenches possible. i made like a 25 inch one out of like 6 extensions

I have the Vast V8 Dp's on my car...with no cats at all. They do not use nonfoulers....The had to make me a cusom set due to the fact that I was a 4.2 and not a 2.7T..The stuck a air meater kind of divice in my 02 location then it looked like they did some kind of math calucation and made me ELE's on the spot for my car...no cel so far
I am going back next week for some of there customtuning on my car.
