My TT has one installed. It's very nice and smooth. No peaks or surge. Too soon to tell how well it's going to hold up over the long-run, but so far I'm impressed.

I got the 710N's on now and happy coz it looks factory and would rather use a factory part

APR said they are diaphragm rather than piston style, therefore boost is more transitional?: and they have succeed apparantly coz Forge tried the same thing years ago and didnt work

Is it worth the extra $$$ ova the 710N?

I'm not too worried because on the TT it's easy to change and it comes with a lifetime warranty.

I think it would be an upgrade from a 710, but not from any other type of rebuildable DV.

They are BIG, & you will need to cut the DV hoses to fit the engine covers.

It's very quiet. It doesn't vent externally like a BOV or a hybrid so it makes no noticable sound. I'm very pleased with it. It just does it's job. The valve that was there was the stock valve, and after I chipped the car it started failing almost immediately. I had a lot of surging, and the transition into boost was not smooth at all. This valve just does its thing and controls boost, and that's what it's supposed to do.

No way im cutting the hoses to fit these.

U would never believe me, but APR told me that R1 is ' marginally ' larger than stock Dv and no mods needed to fit? Does tha sound like APR?[:'(]

I was hoping it would make a huge ' whooooooshing ' sound![sm=happybounce.gif]

It's close to the size of the stock DV. Just a little larger.
