Default Rear swaybar only or both

From what I've been reading and hearing, a rear swaybar is an inexpensive mod that will help handling a lot. My question is, what about the front? Is it better to get both? I have a B7 S4.

I say get rear only. I think the majority of audi guys do that. I have a neuspeed one and you can really tell the difference.

It's a Neuspeed and I had it installed yesterday. Very noticable difference in handling. Anyone who is considering a rear sway bar, and even if you're not, I highly recommend it. I paid $350 including installation at a high-end shop so I'm sure you can find one for even cheaper.

Nice, glad to hear.... I payed $240 shipped to my door. Which stiffness do you have it set on?

Beefier rear sways will tend to help minimize understeer. However I think that a case can be made for beefing up both front and rear - particularly considering all the weight in the front of our cars. After installing Hotchkiss H-sport front & rear sways I still noticed a huge improvement in my ability to flare out the rear of my car (particularly with throttle lift) and much easier turn-in in general. Additionally my front end does not dip at all - corners absolutly flat - where before (admittedly I upgraded to KW coilovers at the same time) it would not only noticiibly dip - but to the point where I would often rub my wheels on the wells and had to smooth them out repeatedly - now - none of that...a great deal of this I attribute to the now very beefy front sway bars.
