Default Recommended Tires For My New 19" Rims

I just bought these rims for my B7 S4:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/19-bl...4077QQtcZphoto

I live in IL so it snows for about 2-3 months in the winter. What type of tires do you guys recommend? Should I get all season tires or what? Which specific tire models do you think would be best?

I'm looking to get some decent tires that are cheap in price.

Thanks.

Phil

I wouldnt recommend all seasons. I live here as well and I use winter tires on my stock rims for the winter and use my aftermarket ones the rest of the time.

it really depends where you live, do you plan to drive in the winter with them? maybe your lucky enough to not have winter in that case its not a big deal

shop around at online stores to give you an idea, but I agree 19" will not be cheap

those are some nice wheels by the way! I wouldnt go with all seasons, Put something sticky on those rims, then make the stockers your winter rims.

If your really drive in snow & ice, you should use snow tires. If you just drive on cleared roads, A/S tires will be fine.

My new fav is the Yokohama AVID S4, but they are not cheap, but really, really good!

IMO get a cheap set of smaller rims to run in the winter on snow tires.... you shouldnt be using your nice rims in the winter, and allseasons suck...
