have u guys looked at the write up -
its supposed to be really simple -
just wanted to know if anyone else has used this particular method..
& I know once u get that Axle bolt out - u need to replace it w/ a new one right??...
It's a very easy job. The pinch bolt on the uprights can be a PITA, remove the bolt, & spay it with Pb blaster.
The long bolt holding the axle in in the hub is in there with 300ft-lbs. So use a impact gun, or a really long wrench & cheater bar.
Don't take the bolt all the way out, leave about 1/4 in there, & tap the end with a hammer. It will loosen up the axle. DO NOT reuse the bolts.
lightly grease the ends of the axle & do not force them in, let them slide in, while just tapping the ends.
When I did my ends, the stock bolts were hex, & the ones in the kit were 19mm. I believe the hex is a 17mm? Make sure you have hex sockets.

I just did it via this method and it was super easy! Just do as they say and after you've removed all the bolts holding the cv axle in, just jack up the wheel hub assembly as high as you can and the axle will come right out. Make sure you have your wheel turned to the right though. If you don't, when you pull the cv axle out it will pop out the wrong way and it will be blocked by the shock, if that makes sense.
