rs4 Pricing Released $66k usd
Got this from a post on audizine:
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Audi of America, Inc. announced pricing for the highly anticipated 2007 RS 4 sport sedan today at the New York International Auto Show. Upon its launch in June, the RS 4 will have a base price of $66,000, not including a $720 destination and $2,100 gas-guzzler charge. The RS 4 is a high-performance sport sedan with a long list of premium equipment to go along with its exceptional performance.
A 4.2-liter direct injection V8 FSI engine produces an astounding 420 hp at 7800 rpm, and 317 ft.-lbs. of torque at 6000 rpm. This high-revving V8, in conjunction with a standard six-speed manual transmission and quattro® all-wheel drive with a rear-based dynamic asymmetrical torque split, allows the RS 4 to run from 0-60 mph in a mere 4.8 seconds.
Standard 19-inch alloy wheels with 255/35 performance tires, a sport suspension with Dynamic Ride Control (DRC), and a 1.5-inch wider track than S4 ensure that the RS 4 has high levels of grip for every situation. Massive brake rotors measuring 14.4-inch in front with 8 piston calipers, and 12.8-inch one piston type in the rear, easily bring the RS 4 to a halt from any speed.
Standard equipment on the RS 4 includes such luxury items as power glass sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, Silk Nappa leather sport seats with power adjustments for the front passengers, heated front seats (front and rear standard in Canada), multicolor information display with integrated lap timer, rear parktronic, carbon fiber interior trim, and adaptive Bi-Xenon headlights.
There will be one option package for the 2007 RS 4. The $4,700 Premium Package includes DVD-based Navigation and a six-disc CD changer, Homelink®, auto dimming interior and exterior mirrors and compass, driver’s side seat and mirror memory, rain sensor for wipers, upgraded Bose® sound system with Sirius® satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity, heated rear seats, power rear and manual side sun shades. Rear side air bags are a stand alone option for $350.
Should a prospective RS 4 owner wish to personalize their RS 4, Audi will also offer the ability to replace the carbon fiber interior trim with brushed aluminum trim.
Hmm...have not decided if the price is worth it or not. But that is one hot car!
At $66k there are a lot of other cars you can look at to compare.

Do you know what kind of a bad *** S4 you could build for that price? You could blow the RS4 out of the water. Either way, I still love that car. It is beautiful.
b5 ya, not a b6/7 tho cuz theres basically nothing out there for it yet, minus the one or 2 superchargers, which wont put u much over the performance of the RS. supercharge an RS 4 and ur in business
Well, what else can you do to b6s4? I'm intrigued by the RS4, but I expected more for such an increase in price. $71K before the dealers get a hold of it. They'll probably add several thousand dollars just because it's an RS4 so it may end up being close to $80K.
