Hey guys, I'm still looking to get an audi (have been for months) and I really like the 01 S4s hence my previous posting. I was at a Audi/VW/Porsche place today while my buddy got his A3 chipped and some of the guys recommended looking at a 2.7T A6 as a possible alternative to an S4 since I have been having trouble finding an S4 in good condition for a reasonable price. So I took one they had for a quick drive, nothing to strenuous, and liked it. One thing was the suspension took frost heaves, potholes, and the generally bad roads around here with less jarring than the S4 I drove a couple of months ago. I don't really need the extra room of an 6 versus a 4, and the four is a bit sportier. To cut to the chase I am thinking of either buying the A6 or having this place locate an S4 and get it here, any comments, opinions, or words of wisdom?

 

As u said mate the suspension on the S4 is a fair bit firmer than the A6, therefor u car throw the S4 round corners alot easier!

U can get the same power outputs from both cars once chipped, but the S4 will stil be faster and handle better

Wat u gotta ask u self is which car suits u needs betta?

If u going for the S4, try and get the sports pack and possibly one with Nav etc

 

I say go with the A6 but I'm an A6 guy!
