Hey guys im a newb to audiforums.com i did run a lot of searches but i cant seem to find what im looking for..So i just recently bought an 01.5 S4 and when i got it to my shop we realized it was missing an oil pan and turns out the tow truck driver drove it for 8 blocks with no oil so as you could imagine the motor definately seized up and now i am in need of a crank but i was wondering the differences between the 2.7t crank and the v6 2.8 because the price difference is about 1500 any help is much appreciated thank you

just tell him you'll settle for a new motor and k04's with the whole shebang

 

Hey thanks for the support but just to let everybody know in case this situation happens to anyone else audi used the same crankshaft in all of its V6's so the 2.8 works in the 2.7 and vise versa
