my dream is to do a rear mounted twin turbo setup, underneath the trunk of the car, probably wouldn't get much power as a conventional setup but it would be awesome to do

Not on a 911, but on a 4.2 Audi.
I'm thinking that since that engine is detuned to run at 340hp, that it could take the rear twin turbo set up without having to worry much about other engine internals. I could be wrong on that though. That's why I want someone to give it a try.

Is this even possible? If it is the same basic engine shouldn't the setup for the turbo's be the same? just looking to squeeze more power out of my s4, but still drive it to work everyday?

If u just wont to squeeze then do chip, DP/exhaust. The SC cost ruffly 21K and it u did the twins u would prob easily be looking at well & truly over 30K once u start thinking bout ICs + IC piping etc.[:'(]
Then if u think bout it the auto or manual boxmite not be able tohandle the torque?[:@]
If u brave nuff get a complete RS6 motor/trany/computers and do the conversion, will cost probmore $$$, but will look cleaner and dont have to worry bout custom tunes etc
Good luck finding an RS6 motor
