Can someone fill me in on the following:

1) What makes the rear-view mirror leak? (too much fluid, too little fluid or both?)
2) How do I fill the mirror up w/ more fluid?
3) What type of fluid should I be putting in there?

 

1) blown gasket, common issue really
2) the fluid reservoir is in the trunk
3) Lemonade

I recall somebody posting up a link to a company that repaired the rearview mirror's for ~$75. I wish I could remember the website[:@]

 

Wow, my mirror is mostly permanently dimmed as well. Lemonade huh HP? lol..funny.

 

I think you can put like an A6 mirror in with the compass in em and stuff

 

Wow if someone could find out who repairs these things for under 100 bucks that would be fantastic; I'm going to search this site and see if I can find anything. I need it done, and since this is a fairly common problem I'm sure it would be beneficial for everyone. Any info post up. Thanks all!
