why is it that my 00 s4 oil gauge can get up 2 325 degrees while driving but the second i stop it drop all the way dwn to 150 degrees within a few secs....also my temp gauge doesnt move much @ all...but when it does it gets to around normal but will drop pretty quick back to ice cold as if i just started the car....what could it be? my car is a tiptronic n has about 82k on it...sensors??

 

yeah oil temp sensor for sure, that is what it does when it goes out, the other one got me on the name but mightas well change it.

 

OTS and CTS. change them and then check it out.

 

In case you don't know... OTS - Oil Temp Sensor and CTS - Coolant Temp Sensor.
