Default S4 B5 Window Trim

So uh, does anyone know how the window trim comes off your B5? How is it attached? Is it adhesive? If I wanted to take it off, how the hell would I do that? Any information on this would be most helpful...

The trim I am referring to is the chrome trim around the windows on the outside of the car.

I just replaced my drivers side window thanks to some ***** busting it in and wondered that myself. I never did try and take it off, but I noticed that the rear trim on my car was would slide around if I played with it. So maybe it slides on somehow?? Idk, I didn't want to break anything trying when in reality it didn't need to come off to get the window in.

I'd really like to take it completely off and re-finish it correctly. I pray it doesn't prove to be a huge PITA. Someone must have done this before...

the trim on my b5 is hanging down. there doesnt appear to be any adhesive on it and it seems like it should clip in but i cant figure out anyway to clip it in. Id like to stay away from putting adhesive on it if it clips in so if anyone knows how its done let me know.

Hmmm... I searched audi world and they only have information regarding the b6 & b7, no b5; but even then they are saying it's very time consuming and the trim is riveted into clips... I'm not exactly sure what that means, but I think I'm going to start reaching out to various audi autobody and vag custom shops. If anyone wants to drop me some urls or contacts that would be most helpful, but as of this point, I'm going to be researching and reaching out to people and asking them about the trim. I can't believe this isn't a hot issue; someone must have done this on the b5.
