so u would recomend a turbo timer? Doesn't that help on the coolong down part? How much is one? How many miles (i know u cant get exact just an estimate) could i get before the turbos will go?

 

Turbo timers allow you to remove the key and lock the car while the engine still idles for a determined period of time. It helps circulate the oil through the engine and turbos which cools the oil down and doesn't leave really hot oil in the turbos or supply lines. That's where oil caking happens the most. They are about 100 bucks plus another fifteen or so for the vehicle specific wiring harness. As far as an estimate for mileage you'll get there are too many factors. The condition the turbos are in right now, what type of oil was used and how often it was changed, if the car was warmed up and cooled down properly before, etc. If everything is in good condition and you stay on top of your oil changes they'll last about as long as ones that haven't been chipped
