Broke a lower control arm on my b5 s4 avant. Luckily was at work and got in the garage.
Now the car will not move no matter what gear I put it in. Could something have happened to the tranny when the C/A broke? Engine runs and there is no noise from clutch or trans??? Shifts into every gear smooth no hang up???

 

did you forget to take the e-brake off? just a thought you never know...
