s4 powerband
Ive always read that the S4 powerband is huge, starting at 1850rpms... Mine doesnt seem so. I have turbo lag until at least 3000 by 4000 i feel full blunt of the turbos. i just expected twin turbo to be really responsive... is maybe something still wrong..?

Turbo lag @ 300rpm's? No, that isn't right. There should be no lag, especially down low, sounds like the turbo's are not spooling.
Do you have a boost gauge? Do you have a Vag-Com? I'd say you have blown DV's, & a boost leak. Possibly a wastegate or leak on the actuator.

Hmmm, well im going to get new diverter valves and a vag com soon. i have to wait until my firebird sells. at 3-4k it does indeed feel like 190-200whp though, just.. no boost downlow really. thanks for reply.

I know what u meant but the stock B5 S4 is 190-200 WHP just yanking yer chain haha. Yea well also thing at 1850 its not like a kick in the pants for turbo at 1850 you build boost and then you have a quick spool to get full boost but 3000 sounds too late :-D
