i probably should have mentioned that im buying a tiptronic. it seems like the ko4 kit only comes in 6 speed. is this true. if so what kind of kit do you guys recommend for me if i want to spend 6 or 7 thousand dollars?

 

dont buy a tip...and if you do dont waste your money and go stg 3..why wouldnt u buy 6spd????

 

i cant stand holding down clutches all the time. whats wrong with a tiptronic? its not for racing anyone its just for driving in the street. i was also reading about something i can get for the car also that makes the gears change real fast with tiptronic.

 

i just talked to a person from apr and he told me if i wanted to go level 3 with a tiptronic than i would have to rebuild the transmission which would cost 3000 dollars. is this true? and if so are there certain parts from a certain company that i should use to rebuild it?

LOL, did you check how much a STG III clutch & FW goes for? Almost the same amount! Really the TIP is solid, & there are a lot of STG III guys running fine on a stock trans. It's the torque converter that goes not the trans, it's only around $800 to upgrade.
