If you live in the city, I would get a TIP, & DON'T lower it! Bean town has some big *** pot holes.

ASP has a GT kit as well..but prob take a long time to get it done..

IMO you get the k04 kit... the GT kit is ....relatively...untested. Yes, it has been done..but there hasnt really been to much concrete evidence to show its gains for that extra 5-7k$$.... As well as you can always do hybrids, but again i say k04's.. i have em and love em

 

Id also say dont buy a tip... Even in traffic I find that manuals are much more fun to drive...it actually makes driving entertaining..where as auto's give the feeling of just going along.... But thats my opinion.

if you want to go stage 3 in a tip..its not highly recommended..but the only real thing you can do is upgrade the tranny.... i cant remember the company that does it off hand...anyone remember..is it level 10?

And i live in mpls/st paul...manual is still fun and not a hassle..

id have to look at the reciepts again... but somewhere around 10-15k are into it.

 

but in all fairness i got it done with a lot of stuff done to it..which isnt a way i really wanted to go... But is virtually exactly what i wanted to do to it and saved me some hardship...that and the price was good and nogaro and sport interior and 02 model year and 25k miles was all too good to pass up

Just so I have something to say about the thread, both are crazy cars. I own one and have drivin the other, I love my B5, turbo is great but there is also something about the raw horsepower of that V8.
