Its car buying time. I'm trading in my 05 1.8T A4 Ultra Sport and either getting a B5 S4 or an STi. Honestly asking, which is faster? Is a S4 B5 MTM Chipped going to be faster than a stock STi? What would it take for it to be faster?

 

sti will still be faster...but not by much

get the s4..buy the giac x/xr then get asp downpipes with testpipe and an asp exhaust

you will CRUISE by an sti

 

Stock STI>S4

$3,000 in S4 = S4 walking a sti

$7,000 in S4 = Beating most STI's except heavy modified ones.

Remeber, Weight between cars and amenities... Leather... more room. ECT. use the search and look at previous STI S4 battle threads....

I would rather have an S4 than an STi but STi's are very nice cars.

 

i did search the threads. but i wanted newer input. i wish there were some good vids out tehre for stock s4 and stock sti. Ive just seen a lot of crappy night ones.

 

Not gunna lie stock vs stock the S4 is gonna get worked pretty hard.... remeber Huge weight difference and then another 30-50 hp depending on what year STI.

Granted the drivers are of the same caliber.

Japanese cars are dumb. Period. Get an S4 bro and you'll get luxury and performance. Besides WRXs are the new honda civics, everyone has one... now how many B5 S4s do you see on the road?

 

Woodhead2k is right. The WRX is a low rent car compaired to the Audi S4. Like compairing a Rolex to a Casio. Sure the Casio might be more accurate and you dont have to wind it but its still a piece of pedestrian crap.
