what all is involved in changing the timing belt in a 2000 s4? how much will it cost and how long will it take me?

 

How many miles do you have on her? You don't really don't want to try to do it your self. You have to pull the whole front clip. Dealer Here says $1600.00 not to bad considering.

 

The front bumper,Rad,fans,ect.......All has to be removed. Well to sum it up the whole front of the car. Plus parts your looking at $1200 give or take a little. Good luck!

 

I got my kit off ecstunign.com and some stuff off ebay....replaced water pump, acc belt, timing belt and all rollers and tensioners......cost me about$400....I made my own camlock bar and all in all it took me about 3-4 nights(4-6 hours each night) taking my time and about 3 -4 12 packs.....just be careful not to break all the little tabs, clips and bumper mounts.....the whole front of the car comes off.
