S4 Turbo's
Its very common actually, this is the case on eagle talons, ford turbochargers, and some others.
I am asking if there is a coolant passage through the turbos to keep them cool in addition to the oil.
I am asking if there is a coolant passage through the turbos to keep them cool in addition to the oil.
over the summer my i had a leak in my after-run coolant that specifically cools the turbos after engine shut off. i dont know if this is what you are talking about, but to me, it makes sense that coolant is running through the turbos since this after-run coolant is specific to the turbos. hope that helps.
i've read about that after-run, the fluid is drafted backwards through the turbos after shutdown, i'm not sure if that iss antifreeze or oil? I have the motor sitting on the floor in the garage, although I'm not home to check it out.
